Hi! Thank you for being here. My name is Sheridan and I have had the privilege to work in higher education as a student and College Counselor for the past 10+ years.

My passion for supporting students began during my time as an undergraduate myself when I worked on campus helping to promote study abroad opportunities to my fellow peers. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in International Relations with a minor in Marketing from California State University (CSU), Chico, and found immense joy in advising and supporting students through my work and involvement on campus. Learning from my mentors on campus, I realized I could make a career out of this. From there, I have worked in higher education in a variety of roles and at different institutions (CSU Chancellor’s Office, CSU campuses, CA Community Colleges, and private educational organizations). After gaining experience in these different educational settings, I decided to take my career and expertise to the next level by earning my Masters Degree in College Counseling from CSU Dominguez Hills. I have provided guidance to students on their college search, application navigation, major selection, study abroad options, and career exploration process. Being a part of their journey and seeing them reach their college goals has been the greatest reward!

From these experiences, I have come to understand the complexities and nuances of the higher education system and how overwhelming it can be to navigate. I am here to support you and your student in finding the right college fit and to ensure the college application process is a smooth one.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband, our two kiddos, and our pup, Aussie. We enjoy beach days, hiking, traveling, and cooking. My husband and I both grew up in the South Bay and are very grateful to raise our children here!
